World Cup – Day One Odds and Analysis

The stage has been set. World Cup 2010 is just days away. The betting world will turn to the sportsbooks to wager on soccer like crazy over the next month of so. France is the favorite, and in relatively big fashion – as even money odds. The underdog, Uruguay can be had for +265 odds. This means, if a bettor selects Uruguay to win the game, and they do, a $10 bet would be made into $26.50. On the flip side, if someone wagered $10 on France – and they won – $10 would be rewarded. Once again, the over/under is listed at 2.5. Bettors can grab the over at +120 odds and the under at -150.
