We’re getting more updated news on the online poker seizure by the US Department of Justice, with a recent tweet from ESPN Poker saying that PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, Absolute and UB.com will be down WORLDWIDE within the next 48 hours.
Right now, reports are saying that not only are all these major poker sites are down in every state in the USA, but also down in parts of Canada and Italy. It is unclear how many other locations around the world are being affected by this bombshell that was dropped by the New York district attorney’s office earlier this morning.
As of 6:32 pm EST, the online poker world is in complete shambles and in a bit of panic right now, as online forums and blogs that are still up are reporting that players are already being IP-blocked at PokerStars, while some are still able to play on Full Tilt’s real money cash tables at the moment. Countless others are trying to withdraw their cash online, as it was earlier reported by Gambling666 that 75 bank accounts have been seized by the US government that were used in connection with transferring funds to and from poker websites.
The Govt Can Investigate online Gambling and shut them down, But cannot Touch Goldman Sachs. What a Joke!!!!!!
