PokerStars VIP Program Updates

PokerStars is a top online poker room for many reasons but one of the main reasons PokerStars is so popular is the fact that they rewards their players well. One way that PokerStars rewards their players is the VIP Club. Players earn rewards for playing poker at the online poker room and they gain VIP status as they earn more rewards.
First players will need to earn Frequent Player Points. Players simply play poker and earn points from raked hands in cash games as well as tournament fees for multi-table and Sit & Go tournaments. Players will earn two different types of points, the FPPs-frequent player points and the VPPs- VIP Player Points.
VPPs measure a player’s VIP level and they are not to be redeemed. FPPs do have value and they can be redeemed for tournament entries, cash exchange or to purchase items from the VIP store. PokerStars has monthly VIP levels as well as Yearly VIP levels.
The monthly VIP levels are: BronzeStar, SilverStar, GoldStar and PlatinumStar. Players start out on the bronze level and they will not be required to earn VPPs to keep this status. To move up to the Silver level players must earn 750 VPPs. To move to Gold level players earn 3,000 VPPs and the Platinum level requires 7,500 VPPs.
The yearly levels are: Supernova and Supernova Elite. Players must earn 100,000 and 1,000,000 respectively to gain this level. As players move up to higher levels they will earn FPPs and VPPs faster. So the higher the level the faster the rewards!
This is the easiest and one of the best reward programs to be found at an online poker room. PokerStars has the best in the business working to create programs to keep their players happy and coming back for more and their reward program is one way they do so!
