Phil Hellmuth Hints at “Dancing With The Stars” Appearance

Poker pro Phil Hellmuth has done a lot of crazy things, from his entrances to the World Series of Poker Main Events to just all over crazy behavior. The latest Hellmuth news is that it is rumored that he will be appearing on the 12th season of Dancing with the Stars, a hit ABC reality show.

The show is not set to air the 12th season until the spring so no names have been officially announced from ABC. However Hellmuth took to his Twitter account to make a post and it hints at him being on the show. The tweet stated:

“OMG! Phil Hellmuth (me!) on “Dancing with the Stars!” Outrageous! Might make a fool out of myself on Worldwide Television on more time…”

So it would seem as though the poker brat is going to be a contestant on the show. The date for the new season has not yet been announced so hopefully with Hellmuth making the Tweet, the official news will come out as to who is going to be on the show.  Hellmuth is UB’s most recognized poker pro, and his appearance would bring even more attention to the best poker bonus in the biz – as UB offers $1,111 in bonus eligibility for new players.

Hellmuth has tried out for the show before but he was not asked to participate. How wonderful it would be to see the poker pro put on his dancing shoes and strut around on the dance floor!?  I’m sure all of his fans and those who are not fans would tune in to see how good – or really bad – he would be!

Hellmuth will not be the only poker pro to participate in the dancing show. On the sixth season Shannon Elizabeth appeared as a contestant on the show and she finished in seventh place. It will be interesting to see how far Hellmuth would be able to get in the competition!  Maybe a special instant poker bonus at Ultimate Bet would be in line as new promo if this indeed does go down???  Ah, perhaps soon enough minions.
