According to a recent tweet on Justin Smith’s (also known as BoostedJ on most online poker sites) Twitter account, one of his good friends just completed a prop bet worth $300,000!

The prop bet was simple:

>> Run 70 miles in 24 hours and collect $300k.

The outcome was something pretty unexpected, especially after the person who completed the bet – Ashton “theASHMAN103” Griffin – had slept only a few hours after a long night of partying and drinking from the night before.

Griffin ended up running the 70 miles on a treadmill and still had 45 minutes to spare – so to say that “BoostedJ” possibly got hustled may be an understatement in this situation.

There aren’t any further updates on how Griffin plans to spend Smith’s cash, but I’m assuming he’s not investing in the P90x exercise DVD any time soon…
