Bodog Says Bring in the Cheerleaders!

Bodog.net is a major gambling brand. They offer it all from sports betting to casino, poker, racebook and gaming needs. Gamblers can find just about anything at Bodog. The online gambling brand has their hand in everything and now they have added one more thing to their list: Cheerleaders! Bodog is showing their support for cheerleaders by campaigning to see cheerleaders in every football game.

The reason Bodog is getting behind cheerleaders is because this year’s Super Bowl will not have any cheerleaders present. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers do not have a cheerleading squad so they will not have cheerleaders present to cheer the team on and get the crowd going.

Bodog is petitioning to make sure that every football game has cheerleaders present. A spokeswoman for Bodog, Anique Gooden, commented: “Bodog believes that cheerleaders are as American as apple pie and the Super Bowl itself. The tradition of spirit squads patrolling the sidelines of football games, no matter the level of competition, is crucial in creating the best possible football experience.”

To get the ball rolling, Bodog has set up a Facebook page called Football Cheerleaders. The Facebook page tells a little about what Bodog is doing and it includes a link where fans can sign a petition asking the NFL to include cheerleaders in every game. The letter reads:

To:  The National Football League

It has come to our attention that this year’s Packers vs. Steelers Super Bowl will not feature a proud American tradition—namely team cheerleaders on the sidelines.

It is our humble opinion that a Super Bowl without cheerleaders is like Mom’s Apple Pie without the à la mode. It simply won’t be the same.

With this is mind, we (the ardent fans of the NFL) humbly submit the following petition to ensure that cheerleaders will be featured in all future Super Bowls, including Super Bowl XLV. Please exercise your power and prudence to ensure this proud American tradition is upheld both now and forevermore.

Sincerely,

the Undersigned.

Fans simply click on a link under the letter to sign the petition. The petition currently only has thirty two signatures but as the Facebook page gains more and more fans the petition is sure to see more and more signatures and maybe it will be enough for the NFL to make sure each team has cheerleaders present.
