Bellagio Robber Finally Caught by Las Vegas Police!

A few weeks ago Gambling666.com reported on a brazen robbery that occurred at the Bellagio Casino and Hotel back in December.
To quickly summarize, a thief walked right onto the casino floor at the Bellagio (while wearing a motorcycle helmet to conceal his identity) and held up a pit boss in the craps tables area – all while demanding $1.5 million in chips and holding the man at gunpoint as he got his loot.
After he got the chips, he quickly ran out of the Bellagio and back to the north valet area where he had left his motorcycle running and made a beeline down Flamingo where he eventually vanished and got away.
Flash forward more than a month and a half since then…
Police officers were beginning to wonder if the robber would EVER slip up and try to cash in the huge denomination chips, a task many deemed pretty difficult given the red flags that would’ve been raised if he had attempted to do it.
Well, it turns out dumb thieves still resort to doing dumb things when they’re desperate for money.
Earlier this week, undercover officers from the LVPD nabbed the suspect as he tried selling the chips off in well-planned sting operation to find the man.
In a crazier twist, 29-year old suspect Anthony Carleo was living with his dad at the time – who also happens to be a Las Vegas municipal judge!
As of right now, Carleo is being held in custody and will face robbery charges once he’s brought forth to a judge in the coming days.
