BoDog has announced the addition of two of the latest sports icons to hit the market to their team. Winners of the Huntington Beach Open beach volleyball extravaganza earlier in June; Jennifer Kessy and April Ross will join the team. The duo has been very successul on the beach, winning seven gold FIVB medals, five silver medals and three bronze medals in Norway. They went 8-0 during the FIVB World Championship to win the title. The pair beat Misty May-Treanor and Nicole Branagh in the title game.
Both are graduates of the University of Southern California. Kessy was picked to the All-Pac Ten team during the 1995-1998 seasons, while Ross was an All-American during two seasons.
During the 2010 season, the pair has two FIVB gold medals and a bronze. They are ranked # 1 in the World Tour rankings and have amassed over $100,000 during the calendar year. Some of the others at the top of the rankings include Juliana Silva/Larissa Franca; along with Sara Goller and Laura Ludwig.
BoDog accepts players from the United States. They are one of the few in the industry that do so with the new legislations in tact. BoDog recently parted ways with Jean-Robert Bellande and Justin Bonomo, along with a couple featured poker players.
The company scored a big win with these two ladies. Kessy is 32 years olds and developing into a huge name within the sports world. April Ross is just 27 years old, who was born and raised in California.
